The Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) is Canada's Association of IT Professionals.  CIPS Saskatchewan is the Saskatchewan chapter of the organization.  I have been involved in CIPS Saskatchewan since 2006 and it has been a critical component of my career.

Board Member

Since 2007 I've served in several positions on the Board of Directors for CIPS Saskatchewan.  Most notably I've served as the President, Program Director, Student Liason, and Chair of the Discipline Committee.  Serving as a Board Member has given me the opportunity to give back to the organization and ensure that the next generation of IT Professionals will have the same opportunities to succeed as I had.

CIPS is built on volunteers.  Beyond being a member of the Board of Directors, I've volunteered as a Program Advisory Member for Sask Polytech (a CIPS Accredited Institute), and I've participated in the Mentorship Program for the last 4 years.
